Sunderland have signed IFK Gothenburg striker David Moberg Karlsson on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old arrives at the Premier League side having already played for Sweden, as well as being capped 11 times at Under-19 level.
Karlsson began his youth career with Swedish side IFK Mariestad before making the move to Gothenburg in 2010 as a 16-year-old.
The forward becomes Paolo Di Canio s fourth addition at the Stadium of Light as the club look to improve on last season s disappointing campaign, which ended with an anxious relegation battle.
Karlsson joins Modibo Diakite, Duncan Watmore, Valentin Roberge and Cabral in putting pen to paper with Sunderland in the last month.

Didier Drogba was a monster in the dressing room who won countless big games for Chelsea, according to Frank Lampard.
It was announced on Wednesday that Drogba would retire from the game at the age of 40 following a professional career spanning two decades, the peak years of which the Ivorian spent at Stamford Bridge.
In nine seasons across two spells, Drogba won a dozen major honours, including four Premier League titles and a famous Champions League triumph in 2012.
And Lampard, a key figure alongside the striker in the most successful era in Chelsea s history, paid a glowing tribute to his former team-mate.
Enjoy your retirement, !
Thank you for the many wonderful memories

Bayern Munich finished their Champions League group-stage campaign with a 100 per cent record as Benjamin Pavard and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored in a 2-0 win over Inter on Tuesday.

Following a decent start from Inter, Pavard met Joshua Kimmich s delivery to put the hosts ahead, before Choupo-Moting added some gloss with a brilliant long-range strike after the break.
As a result, Julian Nagelsmann s men have won all six Champions League group games in consecutive seasons, finishing eight points clear of Inter to demonstrate their credentials as one of the top contenders for the European ti…
Croatia suffered the biggest defeat in their history as Spain thrashed them 6-0 in Tuesday s Nations League match at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.
Marco Asensio scored once and set up four more in Luis Enrique s second match in charge, as the World Cup finalists were run ragged in Elche.
Saul Niguez headed Spain in front before Asensio fired in two spectacular strikes, although the second was credited as an own goal from Lovre Kalinic.
Croatia, for whom Ivan Rakitic was making his 100th appearance, rarely got to grips with their opponents and conceded three times more in the second half through Rodrigo Moreno, Sergio Ramos and Isco.
The result is their heaviest ever defeat, the first time they have conceded six goals and the first game in which they hav…
